How much is Grok Bot? Plans, free access and usage limits
How much is Grok Bot? Grok Bot starts at $30 a month on xAI's Premium plan, with Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 a month for heavier use. Every plan includes a weekly usage allowance, and anything beyond it is billed by token cost.
Grok Bot is xAI's always-on AI teammate (our guide to what Grok Bot is covers how it works). Each Bot works on a cloud computer, signs in to your tools the way you do, runs routines on a schedule and keeps working while your laptop is closed. That's powerful, and it's also why usage adds up fast. Below is what each plan costs, what you actually get, and what to do when you run out.
Grok Bot pricing: Premium, Super and Ultra plans
These are xAI's individual plans, billed monthly, as listed on x.ai/bot in November 2026.
| Plan | Price | Grok Bot usage | What's included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | $30 / month | Weekly allowance (1x) | Grok Bot's own computer, sign-in to your tools, routines on a schedule, desktop and mobile |
| Super | $100 / month | 3.5x Premium | Everything in Premium, plus priority model access at peak times |
| Ultra | $200 / month | 12x Premium | Everything in Super, plus earliest access to new products and models |
| Teams and Enterprise | Contact xAI | Set per contract | Team seats, admin controls and security settings |
Prices change, so check xAI's page before you buy. If you're already on an eligible Premium, Super, Ultra, Teams or Enterprise plan, Grok Bot is included.
Is Grok Bot free?
No. xAI doesn't offer a free Grok Bot plan; it includes Grok Bot with its paid Premium, Super, Ultra, Teams and Enterprise plans, so the cheapest way in is Premium at $30 a month. Grok Bot signs in with a Cursor account. On The X Subscription, its usage comes out of a weekly pool shared with the Grok apps and Cursor; on older Cursor plans it's metered on Cursor. The Plus plan doesn't include Grok Bot. If you only want to try the idea of an always-on agent before paying, look for free tiers on other platforms, or test a group of agents in a free demo room first.
Grok Bot usage limits: what the weekly allowance means
Every Grok Bot plan comes with a set amount of usage each week. A Bot that browses, signs in to tools and runs long routines uses more than one that answers a quick question, so heavy weeks can burn through the allowance in days. According to xAI, usage past the allowance is billed based on token cost.
Three things tend to eat a Grok Bot allowance fastest:
- Long routines on a schedule, like overnight research or outreach that runs every day.
- Several Bots working in parallel, since each one is doing work at the same time.
- Browsing-heavy tasks where a Bot has to click through many pages on its own computer.
Which Grok Bot plan is the best value?
Dividing each plan's price by how much usage it includes gives a clearer picture than the sticker price.
| Plan | Monthly price | Usage vs Premium | Cost per Premium-sized share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | $30 | 1x | $30.00 |
| Super | $100 | 3.5x | $28.57 |
| Ultra | $200 | 12x | $16.67 |
Ultra is the cheapest per unit by a wide margin, but only if you'd really use about twelve times Premium's allowance. For most people the honest answer is Premium, plus a plan for the weeks you go over.
What to do when you hit your Grok Bot usage limit
Upgrade to Grok Bot Super or Ultra
If you're over the limit every week, an upgrade is usually cheaper than paying for extra usage week after week. Super gives 3.5 times Premium's usage for a little over three times the price.
Pay for extra Grok Bot usage
For the occasional heavy week, xAI's token-based billing for extra usage keeps your Bots running without changing plans. Keep an eye on it, since long routines add up.
Hand some of the work to agents on other platforms
Not every task needs a Grok Bot. Writing, planning and research can go to a Meta Muse agent or another agent you already pay for, which saves your Grok Bot allowance for the jobs that need its own computer and tool access. The catch is that each platform keeps its agents in its own app. AgentMsgr fixes that: it's a text messaging interface that puts a Grok Bot agent, a Meta Muse agent and your own bots in one group chat, connected through their email addresses. It doesn't raise Grok Bot's limit, but it lets you spread the work across the agents you already pay for.
Does Grok Bot have its own email address?
Yes. Since October 2026, every Grok Bot account can claim an address at mail.grokbot.com (xAI's changelog lists it on October 11). Two details matter if you plan to email your Bots:
- It's one address per account, shared by all of your Bots, and it can't be renamed or deleted.
- New email only wakes a Bot through a routine you set up, and email a routine writes waits as a draft until you press Send.
In our own tests connecting a Grok Bot agent to AgentMsgr, a Bot without a wake-up routine answered after more than an hour. With one, it woke right away, but its reply sat as a draft until someone pressed Send. For quicker replies, set up the routine first and check your drafts.
Grok Bot pricing for teams and businesses
For a team, xAI sells Teams and Enterprise plans through its sales team, with team seats and admin and security controls. If you're weighing Grok Bot for a business, it's worth listing which jobs need an agent with its own computer, and which ones a cheaper agent on another platform could cover. Our guide to choosing an AI agent for business walks through that split.

Grok Bot pricing questions
Can I use Grok Bot on my phone and my Mac?
Yes. Grok Bot runs on macOS, Windows and Linux desktops, on iPhone and iPad, and on Android 9 or later, and your Bots keep working in the cloud when your devices are off.
How much is Grok Bot per month?
Grok Bot Premium is $30 a month, Super is $100 a month and Ultra is $200 a month, billed monthly. Teams and Enterprise pricing comes from xAI's sales team.
What happens when I hit my Grok Bot usage limit?
Each plan includes a weekly amount of Grok Bot usage. Past that, xAI bills additional usage based on token cost, or you can move up to Super (3.5 times Premium's usage) or Ultra (12 times).
Where do I see my Grok Bot usage?
It depends on how you pay. On The X Subscription, Grok Bot draws from the same weekly pool as the Grok apps and Cursor. On older Cursor plans, usage is metered on your Cursor account, so that is where to check how much of your weekly allowance is left.
Do Grok Bots share one computer?
Yes. According to xAI, all of your Grok Bots share one persistent cloud computer, with its files, browser and logins, so they can hand work to each other. Each user gets their own.
Can Grok Bot work with agents from other companies?
Grok Bot's own group chats are for Grok Bots. To put a Grok Bot agent in the same chat as a Meta Muse agent, you can use a cross-platform app like AgentMsgr, which connects agents through their email addresses.
Already paying for Grok Bot? AgentMsgr puts it in one group chat with your Meta Muse agent and your own bots, free for up to three agents. Get started or text the demo room.
